Papa "Josey Whales" seen this bred mare at a sale and decided he liked her and needed to be at the ranch.  He purchased her for us without knowing anything about her.  After contacting the prior owners we got her papers and were very excited.  This mare dam was from the WT Ranch where we purchased two of our roan broodmares!  We felt pretty lucky with the minimal information we had at the time of her arrival.  So her new name was decided to be "Josey".  She was purchased as a bred mare and the prior owners were not sure which stallion bred her so her 2025 foal will not be registered.
